Rugby League Infographics Film from Motion-go on Vimeo.
This weeks motion graphics brief was the create a 10 second info graphic based animation from a selected pick of figures given to us by heritage key the archive centre that is available at the university campus. The first video that I have posted is my 10 second creation that was based around showing that the home lands of rugby league are in Yorkshire and Lancashire which is situated across the M62 corridor. I used a lot of laters in my illustration because I wanted to use the peel up effect with the second part for all the hills and the wheels on the car need to move to show the vehicle is moving along the road.
with the animation being so short I found it hard to male sure that I got everything in but also all the text had to be legible. I don't often use text in my animation work because we work with such short time frame it makes it hard to incorporate to properly. The second video that I posted is the entire video that we submitted for review and use by heritage key. It is a collaboration of every single students work that attended the workshop, I think that overall it is a really high quality piece of work as we all used the same colour scheme and transitions it looks like the work was all crated by the same person.
