In today's process and production session our brief was the create a short 10 second motion graphic of a flying object that moves from the right of the screen to the left, at the end of the session the entire class has to submit their work together in order to make a collaborative video see below...

All the art for my video was hand drawn using adobe illustrator as it allows you to import into after effects in separate layers and animate each on individually or together. We didn't actually use any new methods in this workshop it was more focused on the content and the different rendering settings that we had to use to submit our work to sara, it was advised that we submitted everything on a transparent background as we had to all work on the same colour background to make the work flow as a piece of work.
I really enjoyed the fact that we all had to submit our work as one file because even though it gave me limitations with colour and style because I always feel that 10 seconds isn't long enough to make a piece of work effective yet. It made me begin to understand the benefits and enjoyments of working with a larger group of people as it put less focus on my work and more on making a contribution to a larger piece.
