Type 14/11/16

During the lecture and seminar we explored the basic sense of text and how fonts and type faces were formed through history. The above picture shows the activity from our seminar where we had to use a set of 10 shapes and try to compose the whole alphabet out of it. It was originally a bauhaus influenced font so the composition is really stripped back and basic this made it easier to make the letter as they look very organic and raw, I really enjoyed the task actually because I have a good interest in typography and writing in general.
